As much miniature steam as we can muster, on both road and rail! - the photos below are from Saturday 22nd May.
The Steam in Miniature event hosted a wide variety of miniature steam models including 5” gauge and 7.25” gauge miniature railway locos and an extensive selection of road traction engines, many of are representatives of the West Surrey Model Traction Engine Club. Saturday saw six locomotives in steam on the Miniature Railway. Resident Bagnall 0-4-0 Saddle Tank, Tess and 0-4-0 Romulus, Lisa, were joined by visiting locos which included more Romulus and Bagnall designs. The miniature railway operated passenger and goods trains and will exhibit some double heading, with steam on the 5” gauge ground level railway for demonstration purposes.
